Praise our Lord Jesus Christ that in him, God no longer counts our sins against us who call on the name of Jesus as Lord and the Risen King. In fact, God our Father never stops loving us. He is our Heavenly Father who is relational, compassionate, loving, and who gently instructs and disciplines and protects us so that we would know how to love him and one another. He never abandons us but is with us always so that we will never fail in the faith but indeed we can be confident that He is at work in our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit and bears us up even in our failings so that we can be confident that we will be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ - regardless of how we might feel about ourselves at the moment. God is good. He is more than good he is VERY good! He is eternal, holy, love, patience, compassion, justice, mercy, grace, forgiveness, hope, life, truth, and light. What a good God we worship that he even bids us to know him as our Father who loves us dearly and calls us beloved as his adopted children who lavishes his great love on us because he has claimed us for his very own prized possession. May we have unswerving hope in the return of our Risen King - Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior - when God's mercy and justice will come in its full glory. Repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ - in him only is there no condemnation for our sins and in him only is there the hope of life eternal - free from the judgment and destruction and bondage and death because of sin in us.
